Five Generations Of Personal Injury Attorneys Serving Grayson
Attorney William H. Wilhoit is the fifth generation in his family to practice personal injury law in Grayson. Wilhoit Law Office first opened when E.B. Wilhoit began his practice just after the Civil War. C.B. Wilhoit followed his father by entering the practice in Grayson after the turn of the century.
In 1934, H. Rupert Wilhoit became the third generation to practice law in Grayson, joined by his son Henry R. Wilhoit Jr. in 1960. Henry Wilhoit practiced law until he was appointed to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky in the early 1980s and currently serves as a senior federal judge.

Mr. Wilhoit’s siblings are also in the legal profession. His brother, Rupert, and sister, Mary Wilhoit Phelps, are Kentucky district judges.
Mr. Wilhoit’s children are sixth generation attorneys, practicing in Chicago and Cincinnati.
